Occupational therapy in Orana, Central West New South Wales
Dubbo is a regional hub with real demand, and local occupational therapy waitlists reflect it. Participants from smaller Orana towns then travel into Dubbo, adding another layer of cost and time.
With Telehealth, assessment can start within days. We work through daily function, home access, community participation, work or study, and the supports already in place, then produce the report your plan review or funding request needs.
Because appointments happen from home, we see the actual environment rather than a clinic room — which usually makes the evidence stronger, not weaker.
Central West NSW has more demand than clinician availability, so even hub towns face months-long waits for functional capacity assessments.

How it works
From referral to report
Send the referral
Participants, families, support coordinators, plan managers and GPs can all refer online, by phone or by email. Tell us you are in Dubbo so we can plan the right mix of online and in-person support.
We make contact
We call to confirm goals, funding, urgency and what has already been tried, and answer any questions about how Telehealth actually works.
Start online, usually within 7 business days
After a referral is accepted, first appointments are usually available within 7 business days — no waiting for the next visiting clinic.
Add a face-to-face visit only where it helps
If part of the assessment truly needs to happen in person, we confirm the next visit to the region and complete everything else online in the meantime.
