Australia-wide via Telehealth
Telehealth Functional Capacity Assessments
An NDIS FCA delivered by video where clinically suitable, for participants across Australia — including rural, regional and remote communities. We confirm whether online assessment can meet your needs before booking.

What to expect
Assessment shaped around the person
How a Telehealth FCA runs
Assessment happens across video appointments with the participant and, with consent, the people who know them well. Standardised tools, structured interview and guided observation of everyday tasks at home build the same evidence base as an in-person assessment for most presentations.
Where hands-on measurement or equipment trial is clinically necessary, we say so and arrange an in-person visit during scheduled travel rather than stretching what video can do.
- Video appointments at times that suit the household
- Support workers, family and coordinators included with consent
- Document and report review before appointments
- Written summary of what video cannot assess, where relevant
Who Telehealth suits well
Telehealth works particularly well when travel is exhausting, when local waitlists run into months, when a plan reassessment date is approaching, or when a participant is more comfortable in their own space than in a clinic.
What the report covers
The report sets out functional capacity across self-care, mobility, communication, social and community participation, learning and household tasks, with risks, goals and specific recommendations. The delivery method and its limitations are stated plainly so the NDIA and other decision-makers can weigh the evidence.
Our all-inclusive FCA package is 15 hours ($2,909.85 at $193.99 per hour). It includes interviews, assessment appointments, liaison, analysis and the completed report. Appointment length and the number of sessions are agreed around your needs; the package hours are not appointment-only time. We confirm the fee and funding in writing before work begins.
First appointments are usually available within seven business days of an accepted referral, subject to suitability and availability. Your report is delivered within 10 business days after the final assessment appointment and receipt of the information required — these are separate timeframes.
