NDIS Pricing Is Changing: What Participants and Therapy Providers Need to Know

    Key points

    • The 2026–27 NDIS Pricing Schedule took effect on 1 July 2026, alongside a broader shift towards evidence-led pricing and transparency.

    What has changed?

The 2026–27 NDIS Pricing Schedule took effect on 1 July 2026 after the Annual Pricing Review. New legislation also creates a framework for formal pricing determinations. The legislation did not itself produce another immediate change to every current price.

Why is therapy pricing receiving attention?

Therapy is a substantial area of NDIS expenditure. The NDIA has said its 2026 review drew on millions of therapy transactions from private health insurance and comparable government schemes when considering prices.

What does this mean for participants?

Pricing reform may provide greater consistency and transparency. It also keeps the focus on value: not only the maximum hourly rate, but what the participant receives for the funding spent.

    Our approach

We focus on clinically meaningful services rather than treating a plan as a budget that must be consumed. We monitor official pricing updates and communicate transparently when a change affects a service agreement.

The most important question is: what value is the participant receiving?
