Tenae
Practice and Operations Manager
7 years' experience across allied health, child safety and business operations
Background in human resources, staff training and aquatic facility management
Hi, I'm Tenae
The organised person behind the scenes who actually enjoys the spreadsheets.
My job is to make the business side of therapy feel effortless — so participants, families and referrers get clear answers, timely appointments and a team that actually shows up.
I am the Practice and Operations Manager at Today & Tomorrow Allied Health Services. With seven years' experience across large allied health organisations, child safety, automotive manufacturing, aquatic and recreation facility management, and hospitality, I have spent my career keeping complex operations running smoothly and people looked after.
Day to day, I handle referral intake and scheduling, referrer liaison, billing, human resources, marketing and team coordination. I also keep a close eye on NDIS updates and changes from professional bodies so the practice stays current without Derek having to step away from clinical work.
I am friendly, approachable and open — and I will not back down from a difficult conversation when something needs sorting. I believe in letting people speak their peace, then finding a diplomatic way forward. Efficiency, trust and high-quality workmanship are the values that guide how I run things here.
"Behind every smooth appointment is a lot of organised chaos — and probably a spreadsheet."

How I work
The values that keep the practice running
Efficiency
Systems that keep things moving, so participants, referrers and clinicians spend less time waiting and more time doing the work that matters.
Trust
Clear communication, honest timelines and follow-through that lets everyone know where things stand.
Quality workmanship
Attention to detail in the background work — because a well-run practice is part of good clinical care.
Approachability
Friendly, open and personable. Confident enough to make decisions, diplomatic enough to hear every side first.
Off the clock
The human behind the operations
I am a wife and mum of two kids, with two very enthusiastic cavoodles. Weekends are for family time, beach trips, baking and staying across whatever everyone is watching, reading or talking about.

A good to-do list and a strong cuppa
Nothing beats the satisfaction of a list that actually gets crossed off. That, and a quiet moment before the kids wake up to plan the day.
